New Mexico Bike Rallys This Weekend

One you've heard of and one, you probably haven't.

This time of year most bikers and motorcycle lovers have Ruidoso on their minds. That's where the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally takes place today through the 16th. (Not to be confused with "Aspen Cash", which happens in May.)

Golden Aspen offers all the fun, madness and general debauchery you've come to expect. Live entertainment all over town, the trade show at the fairgrounds, a poker run/bike tour and more. You can register here and you can learn more here.

If you don't care for the crowds and the lines or, if you've just "been there, done that"; try this. Another, albeit smaller, party's happening in White Oaks, a little farther north on Highway 54. There, you'll find live bands, a bikini contest and lots more at the No Scum Allowed Saloon. There's also a ghost town and more there. For more info on this event, click here.
