Neknominate is the Dangerous Drinking Game Taking Over Social Media
Neknominate is a drinking game where you film yourself chugging multiple alcoholic drinks and then nominate a friend to do the same, within 24 hours. People participating in this game post these videos on social media to create a chain of binge drinking. Unfortunately, some people are going too far with this game.
The deaths of two Irish men have been linked to playing Neknominate but that hasn't stopped people from continuing the craze. You can find tons of videos of people playing this game on YouTube, including a guy chugging some beer, dressed up as Batman.
People are warned to drink responsibly when playing this game but how can you binge drink in any safe way? Social media campaigns have been created to try to stop this drinking game craziness such as, Raknominate, which is posting a video of you nominated someone to do a 'random act of kindness.'
