It must be hard to 'look' like your singing.

We've all done it ... we stand in front of the mirror, grab a brush and pretend we are rock stars and sing-along to our favorite songs. You would think once these people made it big, they would do it for real. Here are my Top 5 Lip-Synching stars:

Former American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery got the opportunity to sing at the 2011 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, unfortunately when the line "the trouble with girls" was to be sung, he didn't fake it ... heck, he didn't even have the mic anywhere near his mouth.

The year was 1989 and the pop group Milli Vanilli (Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus) were performing their hit song 'Girl You Know Its True' in front of a live audience. The track got stuck and skipped having it repeat the lines, "girl you know ... girl you know ... girl you know ..." (I'm sure she definitely knew after that!)

We all know she has always lip-synched. She has even said it herself that she is more of a performer. Sadly, in 2007 during the MTV VMA Awards ... her comeback performance was a bit of a wreck (she even broke a nail off backstage and didn't even get her hair done).

She is known to have a great voice. I remember I was watching MTVs: TRL one time and Destiny's Child performed live on the spot. They did such an amazing job! Which makes me wonder why she would make the decision to lip-sync now ... just because she didn't rehearse the song with the band.

And my #1: Ashlee Simpson

Saturday Night Live is known to be a LIVE show ... hence the title. In 2004, Ashlee Simpson was to perform her song 'Autobiography' and instead 'Pieces of Me' played ... Oops! She left the stage by doing some sort of hoedown. The worst part is when she returned she blamed her band (yeah, because the band forced her to fake it ... on a "live" show).
