Mugshots of Arrests Made in East El Paso Bar Fight Released
The El Paso Police Department has released the names and mugshots of the men arrested in the brutal East side bar parking lot fight that was caught on tape and went viral on social media last week.
Investigators with the Gang unit have arrested 27-year old Miguel Cuadros, 28-year old Normando Isaac Alarcon, and 38-year old Rene Holguin.
Cuadros was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and four outstanding assault warrants. His bond was set at $580,000.
Alarcon was charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and assault, and Holguin with four counts of assault.Their bonds were set at $55,000 and $20,000.
The El Paso Times reports of the three only Cuadros had yet to post bail as of Tuesday (6/26).
According to a department press release, the slugfest occurred on the night of June 4 at the El Agave Azul Bar at 1441 N. Zaragosa. Video of the brutal beat down was posted by a witness on Instagram and quickly went viral. The clip shows a man kicking another man in the face and knocking him out before going after a woman and slapping her on the head and pushing her against a car.
Police did not say what started the fight or if they anticipate more arrests will be made.
