Saturday was proclaimed Biker Appreciation Day by the El Paso City Council!

Saturday was chosen as it was also the weekend set aside for the "Run For The Door" and the museum currently features an exhibit of classic motorcycles. The run was to help the El Paso Museum of History restore a door from the Ysleta mission that dates back to 1680!!

A pretty good chunk of money was raised to help the museum out!  Thanks so much to all who came out to support Borderland Biker in what is to become a great anuual event!  Also, thanks to the bands that played, the vendors that fed the crowd, Tim Hanlon owner of Mean Street Products and Santa Teresa Motorsports for showing off the Victorys!

If you didn't make it, here's a peek at the fun inside and outside the museum!

Also on Sunday, The Mad Hatters MC were out to help the New Life Restoration Drug Recovery Center!  Lots of bikes out rolling for this one as well.

All in all, it was a great weekend to be a biker or just a bike lover!  Thanks to all who made it to these events!  Check back here later in the week to find out what's up for next weekend!

There it went, the fastest couple of minutes in radio ... and online! ... Motorcycle Monday!  Brought to us each week by Santa Teresa Motorsports!  Hit them up at 910 Livingston in the Upper Valley!  Whether you need parts, accesories, service or a whole new bike; they've got you covered!
