Whenever something is just off the chart cool, we say "it rocks"!  Well, a new tribute to Motley Crue "Countrys"!

Motley Crue are getting the tribute treatment on an upcoming CD.  It's not a bunch of rockers paying their respects to The Crue though.  It's a bunch of country artists!

Hey, country folk like metal to you know!  I bet a bunch of you metal heads out there have "scooted a boot" or two as well!  (C'mon now.  You know as well as I do, where there's tequila there's a way!)

Bassist Nikki Sixx says:

We did not make this record for MÖTLEY CRÜE fans, but for country fans who are also rock fans." "I believe that there's going to be a lot of synergy and excitement for MÖTLEY CRÜE fans hearing different artists covering their favorite songs. People will be surprised how these artists made the songs their own and we couldn't be happier with how the album turned out. It's been an amazing, positive experience and, as a lot of things we've done, a first in our career."

I'm not sure whether I'm looking forward to this or not.  Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute To Motley Crue is set to be released July 8th and includes artists like Florida Georgia Line, Gretchen Wilson and one time rocker ... sorta ... Darius Rucker.

Justin Moore does Home Sweet Home on the new disc and recently sang it live with Vince Neil.

Their version doesn't really sound all that different from the original version.

What do you guys think of the "Country Crue" idea?
