Motley Crue Bassist Nikki Sixx Pops The Question!

Nikki Sixx is officially engaged and very happy.

Monday, Nikki Sixx revealed to the public via Facebook that he has proposed to girlfriend of two years, Courtney Bingham and that she said yes!

Sixx (53) proposed to 27-year-old model with a six-carat ring. He planned a very romantic proposal, complete with candles, dinner and rose petals.

This is Sixxs third marriage. His first marriage was to Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt (1989 to 1996). One month after their divorce, he married another Playboy Playmate (I see a trend here), Donna D'Errico, which ended in divorce (as well) in June of 2007.

Nikki Sixx also dated tattoo artist Kat von D from 2008 to 2010. But all that is in the past as he is an engaged man!

Sixx formed the group Sixx:A.M. in 2006, mainly to record an audio accompaniment to his autobiography 'The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star'. In 2011, he released, 'This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography and Life, Through the Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx' (which is actually the book I am reading now ... see?)

By the way, did you know Nikki is a homie??  Yep, he called El Chuco home as a kid and lived on a hog farm somewhere in New Mexico for awhile also!
