Most Valuable Vinyl Ever
Been through your parents or grandparents record collections lately?
MSN.com listed the worlds most valuable records and some titles are surprising. For instance:
- Would you believe "God Save The Queen" by The Sex Pistols goes for almost $15K? (Only 300 were made.)
- "Music For Supermarkets" by Jean - Michael Jarre runs as high as $37,295. (They made 1, then he destroyed the master tapes.)
- Led Zeppelin 1. I know, there's millions of 'em right? But most have the band name written in orange, not turquoise. Turquoise'll get 'ya $3,729.
- U2 - Pride. Only 5 copies of this were pressed on colored vinyl. (Kind of ironic since, it references civil rights leaders) It's worth $6,215.
The big dog is Ringo Starr's personal copy of The Beatles "White Album". Carrying serial number "1", it's worth almost $1 million! (#'s 2, 3 and 4 went to the other Beatles.)
