We are our own worst critics.

We all know of the action filled (and crazy) movies that the talented and twisted Quentin Tarantino has made. Even he can't hit 'em all out of the park though and, with that being said, he has named "Death Proof" as the worst movie he's ever made.

(If he'd named Dusk 'Til Dawn (the first 1) or either of the Kill Bills, I would have been sooooo upset.  Neither was filmed here, but they both mention El Paso. A LOT!)    :)

Anyway; 2007s' Death Proof was released as part of 'Grindhouse.  A double feature that also included "Planet Terror". The film is about a psychopathic stunt man (Stuntman Mike) who stalks young women before murdering them in staged car accidents using his "death-proof" stunt car.

Personally, this is one of my favorite movies. It has action, hot chicks and car chases. What more could you ask for?

Here are some of my favorite scenes, put together with one of my favorite songs!

Tarantino seems to know when to say when.  (Shame more directors don't huh?)  During a recent interview for Playboy Tarantino said;

Directors don’t get better as they get older. Usually the worst films in their filmography are those last four at the end. I am all about my filmography, and one bad film f--ks up three good ones."

Makes sense ....... but it's still kind of a bummer knowing his career may be "a wrap"!

Of all the Quentin Tarantino films, which is your favorite?
