Morning Show Winner Hunter James Receives Game Ball at UTEP/SMU Game [Gallery]

This past Saturday I was honored to escort Hunter James Garcia to the Utep/SMU game so that he could receive the game ball. Hunter was chosen to get the game ball from a list of nominees and as you can see he deserved it.

Hunter has been fighting Leukemia for more than 3 years and his  effort are focused on his fellow patients. He hosts bake sales, collects toys, and numerous other charitable actions to help other kids at the Children’s Hospital. It’s because of those actions that KISS-FM’s Patty Campos nominated him for this contest.

Hunter and I had some things in common, we both love football and we both love Star Wars. He also made me very proud when he wasn't afraid to take a picture with the Utep Gold diggers. Plus he has one of the best smiles that I've ever seen.
