Monday Morning Mashup: Maiden Meets Monkees

This Mash-up from MoSho favorite DJ Schmolli was so popular we played it for two consecutive Mondays! It's Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" mashed with The Monkees "I'm a Believer".

I don't know how these mash-up guys do it. Not the mash-up part, although that's extremely impressive. What I don't understand is how they're able to post it on YouTube. I mean, I'm constantly told I can't put up a video of one of the Morning Show bits we did because it has the Dragnet theme in the background and that's copyrighted material. Meanwhile, these guys mash up two or more songs (all copyrighted) AND they include footage from concerts and music videos (copyrighted) and it doesn't seem to be a problem. Somehow, I don't think I'm getting the full story on what you can and can't do on YouTube.
