Mister Rogers was always my favorite neighbor to see right before I headed off to school in the morning. He always taught the lessons that improved our brain skills and our kindness towards others.

I was such an early bloomer I had a teeny weeny crush on the old man then! PBS kind of still has the same idea of a show just turned into a cartoon and is now called Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. I wish PBS could show a marathon of old episodes of Mister Roger's to show my kid. Luckily, I will be able to introduce my mini-me to the man I enjoyed watching as a child this month! The documentary will be showing at the Alamo Drafthouse starting June 21 through June 27. Not only will you enjoy what you see but you will also be helping out because $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to PBS affiliates. Focus Features gives you a little sneak peek in this trailer.

Be sure to bring your tissues if you plan on catching this special at Alamo Drafthouse!
