When it comes to blogging about local musicians, Cesar Soto is a wealth of material.

Ministry, (not to mention Years Of Cold and Gorilla Deathbox), guitarist Cesar Soto is back in town to show us how it's done. Literally. Cesar is hosting a guitar and amp clinic Wednesday night at Hero Music, 6430 Gateway East, starting at 7 p.m.

Cesar's a man of many talents. He's a family man, musician, writer, arranger and co-owner of Bourbon and Brews on George Dieter and the West Side's 3rd hole on Belvidere. The man doesn't stop. His business partner, Matt Lynch, is also in Years of Cold and Gorilla Deathbox as well as El Paso legends, Pissing Razors.

Cesar's endorsed by Blackstar Amps so, he'll talk about the amps, show us some of his guitar techniques and answer questions. He has amazing stories to tell also, including some from his recent Rock In Rio performance in front of tens of thousands. They're, uh, also giving away some FREE AMPS!

See 'ya there.
