Don't look now, but the team that most thought would be dead in the water after getting rid of three key players is on a four-game win streak. So, here's a short music video saluting the UTEP Miners as they try to stay Steady At The Wheel.

With apologies to Shooter Jennings, UTEP's lack of shooters after McKenzie Moore, Jalen Ragland and Justin Crosgile were kicked off the team for gambling had people thinking it was a death knell for the 2013-14 season.

Credit Tim Floyd and his staff (he specifically credits Phil Johnson for creating the hybrid big-man offense that the Miners have made a success) because, after a shaky new start with his nine remaining scholarship players and a cast of walk-ons, UTEP has really started to blossom.

If the team continues to be successful, Floyd has to be a strong candidate for Conference USA Coach of the Year.

Either way, enjoy this short musical tribute from footage taken as UTEP beat UTSA, 81-62, last Saturday, and don't forget the two home games this Thursday and Saturday.
