After the most recent terrorist attacks in San Bernardino and in Paris, the majority of young Americans are supporting send U.S. ground troops to the Middle East to fight ISIS.

This news is according to a wide-ranging new poll from the Harvard Institute of Politics.

According to the poll, a solid majority of 60% said they agree with the U.S. committing ground troops to defeat ISIS. The institute asked the question three times this year, and support grew every time .

The interesting part of the survey was even though millennials supported putting boots on the ground, only 16% said that they had either served or were willing to serve. 62% said that they wouldn't personally go and join the fight, even if the U.S. was in need of additional troops.

This poll though doesn't give exact numbers on how many troops millennials would like to see overseas. According to the Harvard IOP Polling Director John Della Volpe, he "can't tell you that young people support 5,000 troops or 50,000 troops."
