The streets of Ohio are a little safer after police arrested a man who was keying cars as he rode around Elyria in a motorized scooter.

The Elyria Police Department had received complaints about the motorized chair demon causing problems in Ely Square and was driving into traffic. Officers had escorted the man once to get back on the sidewalk, and even walked him back home.

On Monday, a woman contact police after finding her car keyed by the man on the scooter. Police took action and chased the man down. He didn't go without a fight as he led police on a slow speed chase through the area. He ended up being arrested after a second cop car cut him off at a car wash.

Once the man was captured he began to resist arrest by holding on to his motorized chair. He was eventually cuffed and taken into custody. According to YouTube user TMCNEWS, the man was charged with, "Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Official Business, Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage and Failure to Comply. Mr. Ley was taken to the Lorain County Jail."
