Is attending your high school reunion REALLY worth getting an arrest record?

Marc Rehmar is a man who wanted to see his high school friends so bad, he was willing to go to jail for it. Well, he did go to jail after trying to chase and force his way onto a plane he was late for.

According to the Daily Mail, the 58 year-old was late to board his United Airlines flight from the Denver International Airport to Ohio on Aug. 6. Once he realized that he was going to miss his flight, Rehmar proceeded to open a secure emergency exit and ran onto the ramp. He saw a tug driver pushing away from the departing gate and attempted to stop the driver from pushing it away.

He then opened a secure emergency exit, triggering an alarm and ran onto the ramp and insisted on being allowed to board the plane. It was not released exactly how he was able to forcibly push his way through an "alarmed, card-key and code locked door."

Marc Rehmar had his day in court and he plead guilty to misdemeanor tampering. Rehmar sentenced to 100 hours of community service and two years of probation. Other charges against Rehmar were dropped in a plea deal, including a felony count of endangering public transportation.

Rehmar told the police that he was trying to board the flight so he could make it to his high school reunion.

No word on whether he made his reunion or not.
