Time for yet another game of New Mexico vs. Florida! New Mexico might take a small lead with this one.

A man named Kenzo Roberts was initially under arrest for stealing a vehicle, but he got several charges added after he attempted to chew off his own fingerprints to avoid giving the cops his real identity. Police spotted a stolen 2015 Mercedes and pulled it over to find Mr. Roberts, 20, driving the vehicle. He was using fraudulent identification along with three fraudulent credit cards and carrying a concealed firearm, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office in Florida.

While Kenzo Roberts was in the back of the police vehicle being detained, he knew he was going to go down for everything, especially when they figured out who he actually was. Instead of facing the music like a man, he decided his best option was to attempt to remove the cops' ability to identify him.

How?

According to WPTV, he tried to chew off his fingerprints, and rubbed them on the cruiser. Unfortunately for him, his plan didn't work and police were able to easily identify him. The Sheriff's Office also said Roberts had two felony warrants out for his arrest out of another county for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

When all of his charges were added up, Roberts was charged with giving false identification to law enforcement, driving on a suspended license, possession of multiple licenses, grand theft auto, possession of a concealed firearm and three counts of possession of counterfeit credit cards. The cherry on top of a really crappy day was that the Sheriff's Office notified Border Patrol that Kenzo Roberts was in their custody because he was in the U.S. illegally.
