A man was arrested for attempting to save his dogs after they were left in his house that caught on fire.


A Florida man was arrested after he attempted run back into his burning house, to save his dogs that were still inside.

Wendell Joyner was home when a faulty television wire sparked a fire inside his home. The duplex filled with smoke ad Joyner ran out of the house and then realized his dogs were still inside.

The 58 year-old man had to make multiple attempts to look for the dogs, since the smoke made it difficult for him to breathe inside the home. After one attempt, Joyner grabbed a firefighters ax and threw it through a window of the home. It was then that firefighters and deputies told Joyner to stop going back into the house.
