Mad Max Movie Gets A Re-Do – Sorta [VIDEO]

More evidence today peeps that Hollywood has run out of ideas, they're planning another spinoff.  The cult classic "Mad Max' gets an update!

The original Mad Max, released in 1979, starred a relatively unknown Australian guy named Mel Gibson as a cop who's family is wiped out by a roving gang of thugs.   The only things the original really had going for it were the driving, the stunt work and the badass cars and motorcycles they used.

I think that may be the case with this new installment as well.

Let's face it, as cool as the original was it didn't have the greatest plot line, dialog or even actors.  All that stuntwork and fancy driving is what made it cool.  Two things that should work just as well for this one!

"Mad Max: Fury Road", starring Tom Hardy and a nearly bald Charlize Theron, will be released in May of 2015.
