Do you enjoy talking to people? Are you helpful and friendly? If you answered yes to those questions then maybe you'd make a great El Paso Downtown Ambassador. The Downtown Management District is looking for a few good El Pasoans to be ambassadors to people visiting the Sun City.

You'll need to have extensive knowledge about El Paso, especially the downtown area. If chosen, you'll go through an extensive training program so you can answer visitors questions, give directions and provide maps and assist in whatever need may arise. The ambassador program is set to start in November and ambassadors will earn $10 an hour.

Also, you'll be required to do all of that in both English and Spanish.

It's just part time and seasonal work and the DMD says that most ambassadors will work from 4-20 hours per work depending on events and time of year.

If you'd like to be a Downtown Ambassador you can get an application by calling (915) 400-2294. Or you can stop by the Downtown Management District office in person at 201 E. Main Street, Suite 107.
