Local Loco Pepe Clarke has been around music awhile, writing, performing and touring on a national scale as the drummer for Heavy Metal band Kyng.

Now, he's bringing his years of experience and knowledge to the youth of El Paso via his Let There Be Rock School. When I asked him to break down his plans for me, he said:

"Let There Be Rock - El Paso is a performance based music school and after school rock n roll community center. We are committed tp providing kids with a place where they can learn to play an instrument, jam with their peers, start a band or, just hang out, practice, do homework, interchange ideas, write songs, etc..."

Pepe told KFOX that, he wanted the school "filled, packed with kids all the time, interchanging ideas and music." Sounds good to me! You can contact the school via Facebook, by phone at (323) 316-4856 or, visit their website, letthereberockep.com.
