Local Loco – Eddy Razor – Performs With Overkill [VIDEO]

Another local musician who, literally, can't sit still.

He's a drummer so, yeah, no sitting still here. I recently wrote about some hard working local locos. Earlier today, I saw this video on facebook and it reminded me of another busy local rocker. My good friend Eddy Razor.

Brother Ed has been rocking El Paso, and the rest of the world, for quite some time now. He and his brother Danny opened up The Attic, El Paso's first, truly all original music venue, back in the 90's. (Imagine The Whiskey or CBGB's, done El Chuco style.) They rocked together in Backdoor Cyclops and formed the legendary Pissing Razors. From there, Ed went on to start a sound and production company, served a stint in Ministry, has run sound for Overkill on several of their tours and often sits in with them. (Hence the video!)

He's a founding member of Cowboys From Hell Paso, (the only Pantera tribute band acknowledged by Vinne Paul and Dimebag Darrell's widow, Rita) and he still runs sound, records and performs with other local and national bands. There's a lot more to the story but, you get the idea.
