Thanks to modern technology, a long gone El Paso newspaper lives again.

The El Paso Herald Post was a daily afternoon edition El Paso newspaper for decades. It's publication was stopped in 1997, but now, thanks to longtime newscaster, journalist and radio personality Chris Babcock, it's back.

The El Paso Herald Post has a new life online. I asked Chris why he was resurrecting the former newspaper and he said:

I brought it back because the time is right, we're starting to head in the right direction as a city and the best way to keep it going is through dialog. As I've posted: informed opinion leads to discussion, which in turn leads to action.

The Post's last headline was "Adios, Amigos" and it's first digital headline is, appropriately, "Hola, Amigos". Check it out online at ElPasoHeraldPost.com or visit their Facebook page.
