Deadbeach Brewery has crafted a new beer in honor of Pope Francis visit this month. Proceeds from this pilsner will also benefit a local charity.

Deadbeach Brewery is located downtown at 406 Durango Street, near the Union Plaza Entertainment District. Downtown El Paso has been growing and Deadbeach is ready to be apart of the vibrant, growing culture. The brewery is known for their locally made, unique beers that are slowly being made available in other locations. Next week, they will be releasing a new beer, made special for the papal borderland visit.

This new pilsner is described as a "crisp, clean refreshing pilsner made with snowmelt filtered by the heavens." Never has a description made my mouth salivate so much! I can't wait to try this thirst-quenching beer. This new pilsner will debut on Tuesday, February 16th. A portion of the proceeds (80%) will be given to the New Life Border Ministries, a non-profit that helps disabled children and young adults in El Paso and Juarez. The celebration will start on the 16th and continue until the 21st.

Come celebrate the arrival of the Pope and try out a refreshing, new, local craft beer for a good cause!
