Local Band Needed For Styx Concert

If you're in a local band, love huge crowds and are available January 15th, you might want to read this!

This is a great opportunity for all you local rockers to open for Styx!

The Las Cruces Convention and Visitors Bureau are holding auditions for an opening act for the Styx concert January 15th, 2014.  According to their website, lascrucescvb.org, bands need to submit a 3 - 5 minute demo one of three ways.  They are:

• By email to styx@explorelascruces.com (20MB or smaller only)
• If you're demos larger than 20MB, uploaded it to Youtube and send the vids link to styx@explorelascruces.com.
• Or, go old school and mail it ... on a flash drive ... to:

Several finalists will be selected and they will compete in a live audtion January 10th at Hurricane Alley in Cruces!  The winning band will need to bring some equipment along, for specifics click here.
