You may know that creepy looking doll, Elf on the Shelf, comes out only during the holiday season. As if trying to be good all year isn't hard enough, they have invented a doll to creepily embed fear into children all through the Christmas season.

If you think that is too cruel of a statement then meet Isabelle LaPeruta, a 7-year-old New Jersey girl, who called 911 because she thought she ruined Christmas just by touching the doll. I don't know the rules to how the doll works, but apparently if you touch the doll the Christmas magic will fade away.

Yes, one single touch can ruin Christmas and mentally scar a child. Poor little Isabelle was so freaked out about it that she called 911 to help her fix it. While this incident might not be considered a major emergency, Isabelle won't be facing any charges for the call since Old Bridge Police Lt. Joseph Mandola understands why she did it, "To her, it was an emergency when she touched the elf, and she's going to ruin Christmas, so that was her emergency. In her mind, she did right, and it was fine with us."

If only we all could own an Elf on a Shelf and by that i mean an actual Elf like Will Ferrell. Now that's worth buying.
