For some people, the El paso Downtown Streetfest is all about the music. For me, you can't forget all the amazing food that is being served in gorgeous Downtown El Paso. There are several different food trucks and restaurants that will be out at Streetfest for you to enjoy. There are a couple of food places I think you need to check out while you enjoy the music, fireworks and fun!
Any place that makes Baked Tater fries, Cheeseburger fries and Funnel Cake fries HAS to be on my list of top places to visit! There are so many wonderful variations on the classic french fry that you need to try at least one. My recommendation? If you like something sweet, try the funnel cake fries. If you'd rather have something a little spicy and tangy, the Buffalo Chicken fries will give you something to tell your friends about. The Tap, The Tap, The Tap how I love this little hole in the wall El Paso staple. The burritos are fantastic, the shrimp cocktails you have to try and the nachos are world famous. No really, they've been voted by Yahoo as one of the top nachos in America. If you don't stop by and try one of their items, you have failed at being a foodie. The Tap On Wheels will be on Main Street at Streetfest.
I always see Delicious Mexican Eatery at various events around El Paso and their line is always the longest. And for good reason. Every person you ask about where to grab some good food, they will recommend Delicious. Try one of their gorditas if you want something that is one of the best! Craving something sweet? You can never go wrong with a funnel cake here. Delicious Mexican Eatery will be located on Santa Fe street.
