New Mexico Woman Allegedly Strikes Child In the Face With a Lightsaber

A woman indicted on two counts of child abuse according to KVIA. Julia Torres denies hitting the 12-year-old girl in the face with the handle of a lightsaber but admits to breaking her boyfriend's arm with a baseball bat twice.

While the beginning of the investigation in Vado is unclear 25-year-old Torres' 50-year-old boyfriend James Anthony Collins also will be charged with two counts of child abuse. If they both are convicted they could face up to three years in jail.

Torres has admitted to having anger issues with her boyfriend but still denies hitting the little girl.
