Police in Las Cruces are seeking the public's help as they look for a missing 13 year old girl.  Police say Nichole Aaliyah Enriquez ran away from her home Saturday on the 6300 block of Reynolds Drive.  She's described as 85 pounds and 4'8 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.  Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick wants a CNN anchor fired for a comment she made about the man who opened fire on Dallas Police Headquarters over the weekend.  Patrick sent a letter to CNN President Jeffrey Zucker Monday saying Fredricka Whitfield's remarks aren't acceptable in Texas or America.  Patrick also wants Zucker to offer up a written apology to Dallas police, law enforcement, and the people of Texas.  Whitfield said Saturday morning that James Boulware was "courageous and brave, if not crazy" for shooting at police headquarters.  She has since publicly apologized, saying she misspoke terribly and understands how offensive the comments were.

Immigration Protesters Interrupt Jeb Bush Presidential Rally

Some immigration protesters briefly interrupted a rally held by Jeb Bush yesterday as he announced he is seeking the 2016 Republican Presidential nomination.  The former Florida Governor made it official during a campaign rally in Miami.  The protesters wore shirts that said, "Legal status is not enough."  Bush vowed that the next President will get meaningful immigration reform passed, and not by executive order.

Cat Trapped In Mattress Survives 64 Day Journey To Alaska

A baby cat is alive and well after being trapped in a futon mattress for more than two months traveling from El Paso, Texas to Fairbanks, Alaska.  Jesse and Kymberly Chelf said they thought they had lost their two-month-old kitten "Moosie" when they were moving from Fort Briggs to Fort Wainwright.  They said one of the last things the movers packed was their futon and somehow "Moosie" got wrapped up inside of it.  The Chelfs say "Moosie" survived the 64 day journey without food or water.  They rushed "Moosie" to the vet to be treated for dehydration.  He is expected to make a full recovery.

Wiz Khalifa Pays Fine In Marijuana Possession Case

Wiz Khalifa is moving on from last year's arrest for marijuana possession.  TMZ reports that the rapper has paid a fine to put the possession and drug paraphernalia charges behind him.  Wiz was initially arrested in May 2014 after TSA officials in El Paso caught him at a security check point with marijuana in his bag.  While the arrest made headlines, he earned more attention for posting selfies from inside the jail.
