Las Cruces Crime Stopper would like to speak to a couple who dropped off the dead body of a 54 year-old man at a hospital then left. They are even offering up to a $1,000 reward.
Police say that on January 1st around 10 p.m., a couple driving a grey or tan four door sedan wheeled the dead body of Norman Means into the Memorial Medical Center emergency room. The couple told the hospital personnel that they gave the man a ride from Deming, then they left. The hospital determined that Means was deceased upon arrival.

Las Cruces police detectives believe the man's death isn't suspicious, since he had no visible injuries, was diabetic and was still recovering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound from July 2014. Detectives would like to speak to the couple so they can determine where and when the man died. Surveillance video from the hospital appears to show the man having long, gray hair and the woman with brown hair.

Anyone with information on the death of Norman Means, or who the couple are that dropped him off are asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also text in any tips to CRIMES (274637), keyword LCTIPS. You can send in any tips 24 hours a day and don't have to give a name to collect the up to $1,000 reward.
