6.5 million boxes of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese have been recalled because some boxes may contain small metal fragments. According to Kraft Foods Group Inc., eight incidents of consumers finding small pieces of metal in the boxes have been reported, but no information on any injuries.

Make sure to check any 7.25 ounce mac & cheese boxes you may have purchased either individual, or in packs of three, four or five. The boxes reportedly affected have a "best when used by" date ranging from Sept. 18, 2015 through Oct. 11, 2015.

If you do own any of these boxes, you should return them to the store you purchased them for a full refund. Consumers also can contact Kraft Foods Consumer Relations at 1-800-816-9432 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern time.
