KLAQ’s Great River Raft Race – Let The Raft Building Begin (photos)

A few years ago, I had the honor of building the KLAQ Raft for the Re-birth of the Great River Raft Race. With a budget of pennies, I was able to get 4 grown people (Buzz, Mando, Myself and a Listener) on the raft safely across the Mighty Rio Grande. It wasn’t pretty, even with us surpassing the weight limit for our man made craft.

This year I’ll be doing it again, and again with a budget of a few dollars. And With MUCH heavier people (BUZZ)

All I know; right now I have a KLAQ Flag that we will be flying on the 2013 edition of our raft.
