The only KCBS Sanctioned event on a military installation is happening right here in El Paso on Fort Bliss! Check out the Bliss Brews and Que in October.

The ONLY KCBS sanctioned BBQ competition on a military installation is returning to Fort Bliss by popular demand. The Bliss Brews and Que event is two days full of delicious BBQ, great music, cold drinks and a family friendly atmosphere.

Bliss Brews and Que is happening October 7th and 8th inside Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss. This event is free to attend and open to both military and civilians.

This is the fifth year that the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) will officiate this compeition, with teams coming from across the United States to compete for over $15,000 in cash prizes.

Ever wanted to compete in a BBQ competition? Bliss Brews and Q also has a backyard competition that amateur BBQ enthusiasts can enter! There will be more cash and prizes for this category too! Find out more details about how you can enter at the website.

While there will be tons of BBQ being made for the competitions, there will be also be plenty of BBQ for attendees to purchase and try. Vendors from all over the United States attend bringing their own unique style of BBQ and other delicious food to the El Paso area.

This event is a full weekend of BBQ, fun and family activities so come out for a great time. Bliss Brews & Que is happening Friday October 7th from 5PM to 10:30PM and Saturday October 8th from noon to 9PM in Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss.
