There are several reasons I am so excited for the 20th anniversary show on Friday.  We will be doing the KLAQ Morning Show live from the historic L&J Cafe from 6 am to 10 am Friday to commemorated Buzz's 20th Anniversary.  We will also have the new Morning Show CD for sale and it will be your first chance to get one, or several, signed by the whole crew, for only $10.  We will have free coffee, and L&J will have a Buzz burrito special for $2.75.  And the best part, they can start pouring beer at 7 am!  We will also have lots of special guests.  If you have never been into the L&J, you are in for a treat.  The restaurant used to be a speakeasy back in the day, opening as Tony's Place in 1927.  It's got quite a history.

The walls are covered with photos of local and international luminaries that have eaten at the L&J.  The cafe is a favorite El Paso stop for several bands who play in town.  And for good reason.  The food is outstanding.  They have the best green chicken enchiladas and their delicious caldo de res is perfect for this chilly weather.  Stop by on Friday morning and join us for the fun, the food, the festivities.  The L&J Cafe is a 3622 E. Missouri, just off Copia, next to Concordia Cemetery.
