A usual family trip to Joe's Crab Shack in Colorado Springs for the Montoya family, took a scary turn. The popular restaurant is under investigation, after they served the Montoya family's children, including a 2-year-old, an alcoholic beverage.

The kids ranging from ages 2 to 8 years-old, ordered a drink off the kids menu called, "Shark Nibble." The kids drink includes About 30 minutes later, a waitress returned to the table and informed the family about someone accidentally pouring alcohol into the kids' beverage.

The Montoya family were worried about the mistake, because the 2-year-old had finished her drink and another kid was complaining of not feeling well. The paramedics were called to check the kids, and luckily, everyone was fine.

Joe's Crab Shack has released a statement about this incident:

"Joe’s Crab Shack is aware of this incident at the Colorado Springs Location, and we are investigating this matter internally. We do not condone underage service of any kind. Our guests can rest assured that our processes are continuously examined so that incidents like this are avoided. "

 

The Colorado Springs police department have handed over this case to their liquor team for review.
