Insane Climbers Take On El Capitan With No Tools

These two psychos are taking on the worlds hardest climb with no equipment ... and even less sanity!

Kevin Jorgeson and Tommy Caldwell are climbing El Capitan, a 3000 foot cliff located in Yosemite National Park. Said to be one of the worlds smoothest and steepest faces, these two are climbing it with nothing but a rope!

This is no afternoon hike either, they started the climb December 27th and won't finish until this weekend. They've been sleeping on the cliff in tents anchored at only one point and surviving on hard boiled eggs, salmon breakfast sandwiches and coffee.

On top of that madness, these two are making the entire climb bare handed!

Why? To make history as the first climbers to ever make such a climb without using any tools!

Sure ... why not?
