A number of guest speakers will be on hand including State Senator Jose Rodriguez, U. S. Congressman Beto O'Rourke.  Native El Pasoan and DFW NORML chapter founder Ryan F. Rodriguez will be there as well as David Sloan. (DFW NORML Public Information Officer and Criminal/Defense Attorney)

Richard "Kinky" Friedman, the Democratic Candidate for Texas Commissioner of Agriculture, will also be on hand!

According to an email from NORML of El Paso, the groups mission is to:

move public opinion sufficiently to achieve the repeal of marijuana prohibition so that the responsible use of cannabis by adults is no longer subject to penalty.

The first laws prohibiting the use/possession of marijuana went into effect in El Paso and that is where they hope to end them as well.  To contact EP NORML Executive Director Colt DeMorris or NORML Director Of Communications Josh Dagda, call Josh at (915) 926-0910 or email jedagda@gmail.com.
