420,000 of one of El Paso's most popular truck models are being looked at.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says there have been several reports of sudden brake loss with 2013 and 2014 F-150's. According to KFOX TV, the NHTSA said:

it has 33 complaints about the problem, including some drivers reporting that the pedals can suddenly go to the floor with a complete loss of braking.  The agency reported that 31 of the complaints from F-150 drivers came in the past year, with 20 in the past seven months.

Some of the drivers reported that mechanics told them brake fluid had leaked from the master cylinder to the brake booster, causing the problem. Some reported that brake warning lamps came on, or they found brake fluid reservoirs empty or low, with no visible leaks.

If you have a 2013 or 2014 Ford F-150 with the 3.5-Liter, six-cylinder engine, you might want to get your braking system checked!
