If You Could Bring Back One Dead Musician, Who Would It Be?

This is a conversation I've had many times over with my friends. We've even done the whole "if you could have one band filled with dead musicians, who would they be?"

Well, I'm saying you only get one. It was recently posted on Ask Reddit as just one musician, and that's what I'm sticking with. Of course the top answer is exactly is exactly what mine was. Or at least their top answer was at the time I'm writing this and will probably stay their. Here are my pick, and a few other options.

• Freddie Mercury - Yeah, my pick, and always will be my pick. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this pick. The greatest lead singer of all time.
• Jimi Hendrix - One of the greatest and most innovative guitarists of all time.
• Kurt Cobain - I'm really putting him on the list because I thought it would be nice to see what Nirvana would have gone on to do. Continue doing well, break up, or end up making garbage music. My money is on break up. Then at least we'd still get the Foo Fighters.
• Layne Staley - I know, two grunge singers in a row, and frankly I'm a bigger fan of Staley than Cobain.

Of course, with the way 2016 started out, there are all kinds of artists you could put on this list. Even go back to 2015 a bit and Scott Weiland. You also have David Bowie, Lemmy, etc.
