I-10 Westbound in West El Paso Will Close for 27 Hours Beginning on Father’s Day

Heads up, motorists: another full-day closure of I-10 in west El Paso is happening this weekend. Failure to heed the warnings could mean a late arrival to your Father's Day celebration.

Beginning at 3 am on Sunday, June 17 (Father's Day) through 6 a.m. Monday, June 18,  I-10 Westbound will be shutdown from the Sunland Park exit to just past the North Mesa overpass.

But, wait, there's more.

North Mesa will close completely in both directions between Osborne Drive and Remcon Circle so that crews can continue to replace and upgrade the pavement between the two streets.

Detour: Traffic on I-10 West will exit at Sunland Park, follow Sunland Park Drive to North Mesa Street, then follow North Mesa to re-enter I-10 West just past the Tony Lama Factory Outlet.
