I-10 East & West To Shut Down — Detour Info

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-10 will be closed in El Paso starting Sunday at 12 p.m. Not to worry, we have detour information to help you avoid traffic!

The shutdown is needed because construction crews will be removing parts of the Yandell Bridge and pouring concrete on the new Spur 1966 bridge deck, located over I-10.

Both east and westbound lanes will be closed starting Sunday, August 24th at 12 p.m. and remain closed through Monday, August 25, at 6 a.m.

Police officers will be on hand to assist with traffic control. Sun Metro will also detour bus service. Routes 18, 42 and 59 will have altered routes between 4 a.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday.'
Motorist are encouraged to take, Paisano, Montana, Yandell, Orgeon, Stanton, Mesa and Transmountain.
