The free rides are over! Find out how much you'll be spending to ride the streetcars in the Sun City. Many El Pasoans have been enjoying the brand new streetcars running from Downtown El Paso to the UTEP area. The weekends have been busy with many hopping on for their chance to be taken back in time with this classic mode of transportation. Sadly, the free rides are over and people will need to throw down some cash to hitch a ride on the remodeled streetcars.

One ticket will cost $1.50 or you can get a daily pass for only $3.50. Children, ages 6 to 18 years old are only $1. The El Paso streetcars travel almost 5 miles on the 2 routes, the Figure Eight Loop and the Downtown Loop. There are 27 stops in total on both routes going all the way between the Don Haskins Center and Father Rahm. The El Paso streetcar runs from:

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Sunday/Holidays*: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

You can purchase tickets for the El Paso Streetcar at one of their transit center ticket machines.
