Dwight Howard was challenged to a free-throw battle for charity by LA Times columnist T.J. Simers. Not between Howard and Simers, who’s in his 60’s. It was between Howard and Simers’ DAUGHTER, Kelly Nielsen, middle-aged housewife and mother of three.

So how bad a free throw shooter is Dwight Howard? Pretty bad. And there was plenty of smack-talk from Simers and his daughter throughout this battle. Simers wasted no time in taking a stab at where Howard, the free agent, might sign his next contract.

It should be noted that while Howard shot with his left hand, he volunteered.

"I bet I can shoot my free throws better left handed than you can shoot righty," he said. Whoops.
