Horizon Teen Fakes Cancer and Raises $17,000 in Donations

To think she got away with it for so long is ridiculous! Oh yeah.... "ALLEGEDLY". Ruth Angelica-Gomez, 18, of Horizon City told everyone she was dying of leukemia and only had 6 months to live. She then proceeded to raise $17,000 of donation money from different organizations for kids with leukemia.

She is now facing theft charges from police after they found no indication of her ever being sick or being in the hospital. To make matters even worse, she was engaged which means some poor dude was taking care of her thinking she could die any day now! But, some of the most pissed people out there should be the teenagers from Da Vinci High School, where they threw her a prom party/ fundraiser to raise money and because she told them she had missed her own prom while in treatment.
