Load up the family and head to Cruces Saturday for outdoor, holiday fun!

Here's a great way to have a good time and get everyone off their smart phones for a minute! Saturday, Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park will be the site of a special holiday scavenger hunt, toy giveaway and lots more. According to the Las Cruces Sun - News:

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Santa Claus will visit the park's plaza. And starting at 10 a.m., there will be a scavenger hunt in the native garden, where children can search for toys that fell from Santa’s sleigh. When the children help Santa by finding the toys, they will be given directions for a short hike to the Candy Cane Tree. When they reach they tree they will be able to pick a candy cane as a reward. Upon return to the visitor’s center, the children will be able to select one of the toys they found in the garden.

Admission to the event is free but, it's $5 a car to enter the park.
