Have You Ever Needed an Excuse To Block Someone?

Block People
Johnnie Walker

Everyone has probably had the situation come up where they’ve wanted to block someone, but didn’t (or couldn’t) tell them the truth. What’s the weakest excuse you’ve ever had for wanting to block someone? The good reasons are easy – stalker/harrassing/total beeyatch/total bastidge/big argument/whatever. But say you don’t really have a good reason, you just want to do it?

So then you’ve blocked them…you’ll inevitably have to answer their question wondering why they’re no longer your friend. Searching the interwebs, here are a few that could work/get you in trouble.

“Wow, I’m sorry, I didn’t even know you weren’t there anymore! Facebook must be acting up again!”

“Hey, sorry, I meant to delete the person right above/below you. My bad.” Do people still say my bad?

“One of my other personalities must have done it.”

“My boyfriend/girlfriend told me to. And I’m totally whipped.”

“You did my mom. I have to draw the line somewhere.”

“You posted so much spam and crap on my wall, I can’t stand it.”

“I have this weird twitch in my mouse-clicking finger, and it must’ve twinged when I was clicking near your name. Sorry.”

“This stupid phone app sucks! It’s always screwing things up!”

So answer me this…what’s your LAMEST reason for blocking someone, and what’s the funniest excuse you’ve used when they figured it out?
