First, large portions in fast food restaurants were causing obesity. Then cell phone usage started causing car accidents. Now, a dating app is driving sexually transmitted disease rates up.

What's wrong with offering people factual advice and leaving it at that? Want to be healthy? Eat right. Want to avoid accidents? Drive carefully. Don't want herpes? Don't sleep around. New laws and/or policies won't eliminate problems folks, dumb will always find a way.

Case in point, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. They just pressured Tinder into adding links to STD testing locations to their site because, they say, the app is causing STD numbers to rise by helping people hook up and (potentially) have sex.

Yeah, totally Tinders fault. All of you who contracted an STD before Tinder even existed, hush.
