Guess Who Was Named the Drunkest City in Texas — No, Go Ahead and Guess

You already see where this is going, don't you?

A list on MSN.com has named the drunkest city in each of the 50 states and yep, El Paso took the Texas honors. Cheers everybody, we're number one!

We picked up the numero uno spot because:

More than half of all adults in El Paso report drinking to excess on a regular basis, more than in any other city in the United States. The 56.2% of El Paso adults who drink excessively is a much larger share even than in Dubuque, Iowa, the city with the second highest rate in the county.

We're not alone in the Borderland either, our party buds in Las Cruces took first place in New Mexico. They "won" with a record of16.4 percent of Las Cruceans drinking excessively. The next closest party animals are in the Phoenix area.
