Well, if the nostalgia hit you right in the feels when you heard about Toys "R" Us closing, fear not, because KB Toys is planning a comeback! Ellia Kassoff of Strategic Marks, LLC. wrote on LinkedIn that KB Toys is totally coming back and we can expect stores to open for the Christmas season. They not only want to bring back your childhood memories, but they're also hoping to help out all those whose jobs were lost from the Toys "R" Us closings. As for online and large store competitors, Kassoff believes that they've come up with a great model that will work in the long run.

"I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys "R" Us kid!" that's the song that will forever live in our hearts. As we prepare to say goodbye to Toys "R" Us it reminded me of my favorite memory of Toys "R" Us. We would always go to Toys "R" Us around Easter time and my parents would always let me choose two toys. I was a Barbie lover. I was also a big fan of The Spice Girls (it was 1997 and I was 8 years old, who are you to judge me?!). So that one year that I was allowed to choose my two toys, I chose two Spice Girls Barbies! It was Sporty Spice and Posh Spice! I was so excited! I ended up collecting all five Spice Girls, and I actually still have one in a box in the attic. As lots of kids, and lets face it, adults, mourn the demise of Toys "R" Us, we all look forward to the opening of our other childhood haunt opening up again!
